imagePROGRAF W2200 Graphic Color Printer with ultra high-quality output
at super high speeds has set new standards in Graphics printing. The
W2200 accomplishes this by using Canon's newly developed 1.07-inch
Bubble Jet six-chip print head. The W2200 features 2400x1200 dpi
resolution, Four-Picoliter droplet size, six-color ink system, and
Canon's MicroFine Droplet Technology. The imagePROGRAF W2200 produces
the best resolution for color comps, conceptual drawings, graphic
illustrations, and digital photos in sizes up to 13" x 19".
The W2200 delivers high-speed printing with its six-color integrated
high-density wide print head. With 1,280 nozzles per color for a total
of 7,680 nozzles, the W2200 can deliver unprecedented print speed. The
1/1200-inch high-density nozzle head accurately delivers ink with 2400 x
1200 dpi resolution. High image quality is obtained with microscopic
4-pl droplets and Canon's Microfine Droplet Technology. The W2200 boasts
excellent cost-performance with large capacity ink tanks,(130ml for each
color) and a large paper capacity.

Ultra-Wide
Print Head.
The imagePROGRAF W2200 has been designed with a print head that measures
1.07" wide and houses 7,680 nozzles which is 1,280 nozzles for each
of six colors. The result is uncompromising speed and quality.
MicroFine
Droplet Technology.
Canons new print head contains a high-precision ink-firing mechanism. By
mounting a heater at the end of each nozzle, the print head is able to
fire ink straight down, ensuring consistent and accurate dot placement
even at extremely high speeds. This ink dispersement technique provides
increased ink-head power, speed, and overall control of the printer.
Large-volume
Ink Tanks.
The imagePROGRAF W2200 holds 130 milliliters of ink per tank. As a
result, these ink tanks do not require frequent replacement, and the
W2200 can handle large-volume, unattended print assignments. Best of
all, the ink tanks are easy to install.
Multi-Interface
support
The W2200 comes standard with: 10Base-T/100Base-TX Ethernet, USB
1.1,IEEE 1394 (Firewire), and IEEE 1284 (Parallel) connectivity.
New Design
Canon has developed a new small-footprint body that has front access for
all operations, including adding media and replacing ink tanks.
