The imageRUNNER
C3100N is a networked digital imaging system that incorporates
high-quality monochrome output performance with full color capabilities to
complement the business needs of workgroups and departments. Built on
Canon's Color imagePlatform architecture and boasting a rated engine speed
of 31 pages-per-minute (black and white), and 7 pages-per-minute (color),
the imageRUNNER C3100N is the ideal solution for businesses looking to
increase efficiency and improve workflow.
Given its compact
design and full suite of communication capabilitites, the imageRUNNER
C3100N is capable of meeting every need for document creation,
distribution and storage. Additionally, the Color imageRUNNER C3100N ships
standard with the Canon Color Network Multi-PDL Printer Kit-B1 and has the
ability to perform PCL5c, PS3(emulation) and Canon's Ultra Fast Rendering
(UFR) printing.

imageRUNNER brand, with the added value of color-enabled scanning,
sending, printing and copying.

The imageRUNNER
C3100N has been designed with an innovative dual processor equipped with
768MB RAM, and a 40GB hard disk, thus eliminating bottlenecks and
improving network efficiency.
The Color
imageRUNER C3100N ships standard with the Canon Color Network Multi-PDL
Printer Kit-B1 and has the ability to perform PCL5c, PS3 (emulation) and
Canon's Ultra Fast Rendering (UFR) printing.
With the ability
to scan originals at 44 pages-per-minute (300 dpi) and 28 pages-per-minute
(600 dpi) in both color and black-and-white, combined with 2400 x 600 dpi
output resolution, the imageRUNNER C3100N will make every image sharp,
every gradiation smooth and every character crisp.
With Canon's
optional Color Universal Send technology, users are able to scan and
distribute documents to multiple destinations, eliminating the expense and
administrative burden associated with conventional methods of printing,
filing, and forwarding hard-copy documents.
Installed with an
optional Super G3 Fax Board, the imageRUNNER C3100N can be transformed
into an advanced, easy-to-use fax machine.
With a standard
1,100-sheet paper capacity that can be expanded to support up to 4,750
sheets, the imageRUNNER 3100N can meet the volume requirements of any
workgroup. Additionally, users have the ability to print onto various
types of media, including transparencies, envelopes, and irregular-size
paper.
An optional
50-sheet capacity Automatic Document Feeder makes scanning multipage and
different-size originals easy.
With the optional
Finisher-P1, an innovative, internally mounted finishing option, the
imageRUNNER C3100N offers basic stapling and collating with the main
device footprint.
For those users
requiring advanced document finishing needs, the optional Finisher-Q1
provides multiposition, stapled output. Also, the optional Saddle
Finisher-Q2 for is equipped for outputting V-folded, saddle-stitched
booklets.
